Red Oak ISD Family

Financial TransparencyThe Red Oak Independent School District serves approximately 5,800 students on seven campuses. Just 20 minutes from downtown Dallas, Red Oak ISD offers both a sense of family and easy access to DFW. We proudly serve the portions of the communities of Red Oak, Ovilla, Oak Leaf, Glenn Heights and Pecan Hill that are zoned for Red Oak ISD.

We are a District that has received numerous distinctions and awards for outstanding academic, athletic, fine arts, FFA and Navy JROTC and Career and Technical Educational offerings. Our philosophy is to reach EACH and EVERY student where their strengths are and build on them. We provide personalized instruction and a highly relational approach to our connections. Our Red Oak ISD Graduate Profile drives all our decision making.

We are Grounded in Proud Tradition, and Soaring to New Heights!
