Red Oak ISD Family

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am about the upcoming school year. We are ready to SOAR to New Heights. At Red Oak ISD we measure our success not by a score on a test on one day during the school year, but on the ability to grow and mold the lives of those in our influence. Our ultimate measure is what we can do for the complete student. While we absolutely strive for each and every student to ultimately walk that stage with the right amount of credits and a high grade point, that isn't our true measure.

Our measure is whether or not we are building young men and young women to become incredible citizens for our community. It is what we call the Red Oak ISD Graduate Profile.

Red Oak ISD Graduate Profile
The 4 Talons of the Hawk:

* Academically Prepared
• 1% better every day
• Love & Accountability

* Open to Challenges of Learning
• GRIT- Growth, Resilience, Integrity, Tenacity

* Fair, Respectful & Well Rounded
• REACH- Respect, Encourage, Appreciate, Communicate, Honor

* Leave a Legacy
• We before Me (Service)

You will see this through our district and modeled by our adults as we take the same four Talons and apply them in our Educator Profile. This is what truly makes Red Oak ISD so special. Building on our strengths, and becoming the best version we can become each and every day.

The 2017-18 School Year is going to be Awesome. We are so glad you are a Hawk and when we raise our Hawk Claw to show our pride, it means that we truly are Soaring High!

Dr. Mike Goddard, Superintendent
Red Oak Independent School District
